Humanwire is on a mission to change the way the world responds to refugees. We’ve created an online toolset that enables anyone to directly connect with a refugee in need and then provide effective, personalized support no matter where they are.
We believe Humanwire’s scalable, democratized model of support is a realistic solution for solving the world’s displacement crisis.
During this session our co-founder Andrew Baron will give background on how Humanwire got started, what makes our model so different and how we tackle age-old challenge around the globe in a new way.
We’ll also have the group participate in an exercise to illustrate the tricky nature of shifting the rigid notion of what a charity can be in the minds of the public.
